I spent 1981 to 1990 in the US Navy Nuclear Power program. Served aboard two submarines based mostly in the Pacific Northwest at Bangor Submarine Base. Upon leaving the Navy I worked at a Naval Shipyard for 3 years teaching workers how to safely work with radioactive material. In 1993 I decided to attend Washington State University for undergraduate studies and veterinary school graduating with a BS of Animal Science in 1996 and a DVM in 2000. I started my veterinary career in Port Orchard Washington. There I provided services for many different species operating the only mixed animal practice in the county. After a few years I moved to northern Montana starting another veterinary practice. For the last 3 years or so I have been providing relief services at different clinics all over Idaho, Nevada and Utah with a sprinkling of a few in Montana. I now look forward to settling down in Idaho Falls.
